How do I know if the proper dose has been dialed in?
Make sure that the prescribed dose is visible in the dose display window, and, if known, is correct. It is important to double-check this information. Always look at the dose display window while at the pharmacy.
Please note: a 2.5-mg pre-filled syringe of DIASTAT is still available. This delivery system does not require dialing and locking prior to dispensing or use.

What should I do if I don't see the green "READY" band?
If you don't see the green "READY" band, it means that the medicine in your DIASTAT AcuDial is not properly locked in. If you are at the pharmacy when this happens, tell the pharmacist and do not accept the prescription until the medicine is properly locked in. If you have already left the pharmacy, return DIASTAT AcuDial to the pharmacy immediately. In either case, call 1-877-361-2719 to report that there was a problem locking in the dose. Do not use DIASTAT AcuDial if it does not have the correct dose properly locked in.
Please note: a 2.5-mg pre-filled syringe of DIASTAT is still available. This delivery system does not require dialing and locking prior to dispensing or use.
